For my final project in the graphic I made a website using Adobe Dreamweaver! I personalized this website by picking out my own colors, font, style and the projects I showcased. The screenshot to the left shows the "split' view of my website which includes the html or code and shows what that would look like in website form. I also changed some parts of the code. My website featured parts of my video experience and graphic design experience! After my animation experience I will be showcasing some of my animation projects. The second screenshot is of my website's home page!

What is graphic design? Graphic design is words or pictures that tell a story and communicate something. Something that is graphic design should be something people remember and can understand easily. It's what helps form people's first impression or opinion about an object. graphic design is used all around you in many different parts of your life!

Reflection

Have you ever put picture or post online that maybe wasn't very appropriate? Or maybe your friend posted an emmbarrassing picture of you. Did you ever think about how this could effect your future in a bad way? It can and and there's a good chance it will!
More and more colleges are checking social media to form an opinion about you when trying to decide if you should be accepted into their school. If you have bad things on your digital footprint then you are setting yourself up for the potenial of it effecting your future.
Scott A. Mieklejohn is an admissions officer at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Miane who's says "We would have wondered about the judgement of someone who spends all their time on their mobile phone". Out of 381 college admissions officers that participated in a Kaplan telephone survey. About 31% of the admissions officers said they have looked at an applicant's social media account to learn about them. Thats almost 5% more than last year so this strategy use is increasing with time. What students post can sometimes effect the outcome of if they are admitted to the college they want to attend. 30% of the admissions officer said an applicants social media had negaively effected there chances of being accepted. The admissions officers done tell you if your digital footprint had an effect on you admission chances so there is no way to know! Did you ever consider that they could accidentally find somebody else's account who has the same name as the applicant's and think it's the applicant's? "To me, it's a hug problem," said a lawyer named Bradley S. Shear who specializes in social media law. Some people could even make a fake account of the applicant to try to effect the applicant's admission chances negatively! Shear says "false and misleading content is taken as fact". A lot of schools don't even look at the social media account of applicants. This is mainly because the lack of time in relation to the number of applicants. Although a lot of things can hurt your chances of being admitted a lot of things not effect your chances at all. Be careful of what you post online because it can really effect your future!

Chase Scene

This project was a chase seen that was suppose to have tension and be intense. First we began using storyboards to layout our plans for our project. Ten we shot the film and edited. Finally, we added our music and posted out final cut to blogger, google classroom, and youtube. I learned how much music and timing effect the emotions and tension of the film. I would have got more pre-chase shots before our character began running. I would keep the stunts and music because they added humor and tension at the same time. I will get take away the filming experience and the editing and timing experience. I really enjoyed this project and my final cut. I think I did a good job and tried to for this project.

6 shot system

The 6 shot system helps make sure that there is good variety between the shots and that all angle of the subject are covered. The  6 shot system consists of the close up of the hands, the close up of the face, the over the shoulder shoulder shot, the medium shot, the wide shot, and the extra wide shot.
The first shot I took was the extra wide shot. This shot shows everything that is surrounding the subject and is the most spread out shot. It can also be called the establishing shot.
The second shot I took was the wide shot. this is similar to the extra wide shot but is closer to the subject. This can show the direction of movement and some surroundings. The wide shot shows the subjects full body.

The next shot I took was the medium shot. This shot is a neutral shot that is more focused on the subject but still has some surroundings. It is a shot of the subject from the waist up.
I then took a close up of the hands. This shot shows what the person's hands are doing and shows more detail that could help tell us more about the person.

The fifth shot I took was the close of up of the face. This shot can tell us a lot about the subject's feelings. In this shot the subject looks frustrated or upset. This shot can really help connect you to the subject.

The final shot that I took was the over the shoulder shot. This tells us what the subject is looking at and what they are doing. This shot almost puts us in the perspective of looking through the subjects eyes.
